In response to customers’ requests for a high performance and cost effective alternative to our Top of the line ELITE balanced power conditioner, we now introduce the Cube series. The Cube 8 uses a Noratel made, audio grade balanced transformer core derived from the Elite’s XQ transformer core technology, giving it high immunity to DC voltage components on the power lines, as well as low noise. The Cube 8 will allow customers to enjoy very high quality balanced power conditioning at an affordable price. The Cube 8 is supplied with Australia AC outlets, USA / Schuko / UK / can be specified as options.

The Cube 8, with 2280 Watts of power, is designed for full Hi-Fi (Stereo Class A/B, up to 450W into 4 ohms) and Home Theatre setup. Cube 8 naturally reduces the incoming AC mains noise while improving the current delivery to your system. Based on a custom single winding balanced power transformer, ground loop current and noise is reduced to negligible levels, making it equally suitable for sensitive equipment like turntables and phono stages.

Single-winding transformer dedicated for 230 Vac input/output, each transformer only has a single winding for their intended application for the best performance possible
Ground reference / Earth binding post. This is a connection to the incoming earth. It is meant for customer to connect equipment / phono stage grounding cable for hum noise reduction.
Eliminated on/off switch (always on) for best sound quality possible. Our research shows that 99% of the time, PLiXiR customers switch on their BAC device, and keep it running 24/7. The removal of the on/off switch reduces the number of connections internally, and the result is a big improvement on the sound quality.

Our Cube range of balanced power conditioners, are based on an audio grade, customised balanced power transformer design from Noratel, the inventor and premier toroidal power transformer manufacturer. With certain design elements derived from our top of the line Elite balanced power conditioner, the Cube range offers the most optimal balance between cost and performance parameters (noise isolation, sound quality and current delivery) in a simple package

Other Features

Master-crafted - Build and tested by Master craftsman -- Each BAC is hand-made by a master craftsman. As much as possible, all electrical connections are done by point to point direct soldering with minimal use of connectors and joints that degrades sound.
