Digital Input Card for the OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier
The Digital Input Card for the modular OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier includes the modular OVATION Ultra DAC which well known from other AVM models such as the MP, SD or CS 6.2 & 8.2. The high-precision DAC Card offers 4 digital inputs: 1 x USB (asynchronous), 2 x S/PDIF coaxial, 1 x S/PDIF optical. All digital inputs may be operated at the same time. PCM files are supported until up to 384kHz / 32 Bit, DSD files up to 5,6MHz (DSD128).
Line Input Tone Card for the OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier
The Line Input Tone Card for the modular OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier adds comprehensive tone control functionality to the otherwise identical feature set of the Line Input Card. All tone control functions such as Bass, Treble, scalable Loudness, and Balance are not only available for the stereo inputs on the respective card but can be globally applied to the whole unit.
Line Input Card for the OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier
The Line Input Card for the modular OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier offers 2 pairs of gold-plated stereo inputs: 1 pair of balanced (XLR) and 1 pair of unbalanced (RCA/Cinch) inputs. Both input pairs can be operated individually and at the same time which offers two independent stereo inputs on a single input card. For use in a home cinema setup, incoming signals of the Line Input Card can also be switched to “ThruPut Mode”.
Line Out Card for the OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier
The Line Out Card for the modular OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier adds a solid-state analog output card with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectivity. Contrary to the Solid-State Output Card, the Line Out Card features a ‘tape monitor’ output with a fixed volume level for headphone preamplifiers and other audio components with separate volume control.
Solid-State Output Card for the OVATION PA 8.3 Flagship Preamplifier
Based on the seasoned and widely acclaimed AVM OVATION Solid-State Technology, the transistor-based Solid-State Output Card for the modular OVATION PA 8.2 Flagship Preamplifier has been redesigned from the ground up and features an entirely symmetrical and DC-coupled signal flow to deliver high-precision audiophile listening pleasure on a whole new level.
For both the Solid-State Output Card and the Tube Output Card, the volume control is located directly before the outputs which improves the signal-to-noise-ratio significantly. The OVATION PA 8.3 may carry up to three output cards of your choice.
