Computer Audio Design (CAD)
Award-winning components that achieve the finest sound quality from computer audio sources.
Engineered by a Music Lover Who Said "I Can Make This Sound Better"
Computer Audio Design (CAD) was started by engineer Scott Berry, who began as a hi-fi customer. When his CD player failed, he decided to build something better rather than replace it. His 1543 DAC debuted at the 2013 Bristol Hi-Fi Show and won "Best Sound of the Show" from the UK's Clarity Alliance.
CAD designs products to get the best possible sound from computer-based music playback. Every product is developed through extensive listening as well as measurement, and the range is deliberately small.
What guides CAD's designs
The range includes: the 1543 Mk III DAC, CAD CAT audio transport, Ground Control, USB Cable, USB Filter, USB Control and Ethernet Control.
